Corona shopping is tiring....

Updated: Apr 24, 2020

My experience shopping

Yesterday I went to Trader Joe’s to shop for fresh vegetables.

Since the store is practicing spacing and social distancing because of the current situation, there are long and spaced out lines to get into the store.

I also routinely have my allergies during this period, or which I have medication for.

However, right now I am prone to my usual occasional, random sneezing fits form my allergies.

So while I am In the middle of the line, I feel a fit sneeze fit building up.

Shoot, and I am not wearing a mask, or any of that stuff people wear nowadays, looking like they are starring in some apocalyptic movie.

Even if I had them, sneezing with those on in this time would be worse than sneezing without those on, as I was.

Either way, sneezing outside as a whole in this current climate is problematic.

Hell, someone could call 911, yes, in America.

So, I proceed for to hold my sneezing for the next two minutes, till I get into the building. Hoping use the restroom toilet to take out my sneeze fit.

However, when I get in, my fit has subsided, and I only wanted to pick up three items, so I feel I could be out quickly.

Plus it would be difficult to rebuild tickling fit on command, for my sneezing to come out.

So then, I proceed, get most of what I need and a few I felt like trying out.

While searching for the last item, my sneezing fit came back, and with double the force.

I quickly circle, but the restroom seem too far away.

Because of the spacing in store, a few of the aisle were pretty much empty.

I jump into one and the proceeded to let out a barrage of much muzzled sneezes. Which no one far way can really hear.

When I look up, I see a white male late 20’s, about 6-8 feet from me, whom clearly had been stocking the aisles. How all in a defensive, like he about to run and raise an alarm pose.

I give him a look and I push my cart towards his direction — “

As I passed him I gave him a look like, “say a word and you are gone.”

I was not about to get kicked out for my regular flu.

Especially since I needed to get groceries for the house.

Fun times for sure..

We sure are bound to have future stories to tell.
